This one day training program, is what makes the difference to life or death during cardiac arrest. This condition, is considered irreversible without the help of a bystander and the use of an Automated External Deffibrilator.
The Automated External Debrillator (AED) is a computerized medical device that can give an electric shock on a patient when the person goes into cardiac arrest. To start with, an AED can check a person’s heart rhythm. It can recognize a rhythm that requires a shock. And it can advise the rescuer when a shock is needed. The AED uses voice prompts, lights and text messages to tell the rescuer the steps to take. AEDs are easy and safe to operate and are designed to be used by laypersons who ideally should have received AED training.
During this one day training program participants will be able to learn when to start CPR and to whom to apply an AED. All participants who successfully complete this training course, will be awarded a globally accepted certification. Included with the course are the training materials, wall certificate and wallet card.
